Dr S. Sridhar is presently Professor and Head, Department of Information Science and Technology, College of Engineering, Guindy Campus, Anna University, Chennai. He has a rich experience of more than 34 years of active teaching and research, including a brief stint at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli and SRM University. He is a member of many national and international societies and an approved PhD guide for Anna University. He has conducted, participated, and served as a resource person for a number of short-term courses, seminars, and workshops conducted at the national level and delivered lectures on algorithms for e-Pathasala, a central government Initiative and in EDUSAT television programmes of Anna University. He has also worked on projects in the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) & Chennai.
